Marilyn Thornton believes
that each person has as a birth right in this life to
fulfill the purpose for which God created us. For her, she
is joyously fulfilling God’s purpose for her life to the
Glory of God. As Senior Pastor of High Calling in
Christ Christian Center, she joyously answers the call for
local access to global opportunities. |

She
has provided counseling and guidance to Apostles, Bishops, Pastors,
and other leaders in the Kingdom of God. She has served as the
Administrator and Legal Advisor to various Ministries and Non-Profit
Faith Based Organizations. Since being called into the ministry
full time she has conducted church leadership training, workshops on
faith based community development, grant writing, coalition building
training, non-profit board of directors training and was
instrumental in developing the Southern University Faith-Based
Church Administration Institute. |

| She is a
gifted attorney and
ordained minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As
Apostolic Overseer of Heritage International Ministries,
Inc., God has richly prepared her for reaching the lost and
restoring God's kingdom through Jesus Christ. |

Her spiritual covering is Dr. Mark
Pollard, Apostolic Overseer, Higher Calling Ministries,
Atlanta, Ga. She
was licensed to preach under Metropolitan Baptist
Church, Washington, DC; ordained as an Evangelist
under the World Link of Churches and Ministries; and
consecrated for Apostolic Ministry under The
House of Judah. She
has preached before many congregations, and taught ministry
leaders in Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, California, South
Carolina, Washington, DC, US Virgin Islands, St. Kitts and
Kenya Africa. |

Dr.
Thornton is a blessed mother and grandmother. She
returned to her native Louisiana following a 20 year career
of national service in the Washington, DC area. Earned
professional credentials include a JD from Georgetown
University Law School, a MPA from University of North
Carolina and a BA from Howard University. |
